I’m glad to report, that on Saturday just gone by (February 9), I smashed through the 120mph swing speed barrier for the first time.
Whether it had been a physical or mental barrier, or a combination of both, I’m not sure, but it was really starting to
frustrate me.
My previous best swing speed, measured with my Swing Speed Radar, was 118mph.

It’s always nice to see a review with at least one of the clubs you have in your own bag… good to compare notes. I just read a great review of one of my wedges (Mizuno MP-T) over at GolfWrx.com.
The well written review got me all juiced up to write a little about wedges as they currently stand and my future plans for my “Wedge Set”.
I’ve currently got Mizuno’s from MP Fli-Hi 21, MP 57’s 4-PW, MP-T 51 and finally MP-R 58.
I went with the MP-R wedge as opposed to the MP-T in my highest lofted wedge, primarily because I open this wedge up a lot more and the more rounded wedge fits my eye better than the teardrop wedge in the open position.
Anyways, I’ve got to agree that the Black Satin is an awesome finish.
I don’t like the Vokey’s Oil Can finish, but I just adore the Black Nickel. It’s not too dark, nor too light… as Goldie Locks said,

The all new Titleist irons will officially be in shops late March 2008.

Who knows, you may even see me flirt a little with the AP2 or ZB forged irons… I’m loving my Mizuno MP 57’s, but when it comes to golf clubs I’m not always in a monogomous relationship.

I wrote the other day about the 4 new Titleist irons coming out - AP1, AP2, ZB and ZM Forged - and how Titleist have designed them around optimizing ball flight and launch conditions for players producing different ball speeds.
Titleist have now put up some further info about these new irons, if you haven’t checked them out yet, go over and take a look…
I particularly like the AP2 and ZB Forged irons… let me know what you think.
